4 Arrested After Brutal Hoboken Assault — Police Say Victim Suffered Serious Injuries
HOBOKEN, NJ — Four men from Secaucus have been arrested following a violent assault earlier this month that left a victim seriously injured, authorities said.
According to police, 21-year-old Shaun Katchula, 21-year-old Kyle Garcia, 19-year-old Steven Vega, and 20-year-old Jack Lees were all taken into custody on March 25 and charged with aggravated assault and riot/failure to disperse.
The charges stem from a March 14 incident outside 80 River Street in Hoboken, where police say the victim sustained significant injuries during the attack.
Investigators, led by Detective Paul Quinn, identified the suspects following an investigation. Three of the individuals were arrested at their homes in Secaucus, while one turned himself in at the Secaucus Police Department.
All four were processed at Hoboken Police Headquarters and later transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
“Hoboken will not stand for this type of behavior,” said Police Chief Steven Aguiar. “We will continue cracking down on violent incidents like this.”
