Welcome to JerseyTalks. These Terms of Service govern your use of JerseyTalks.com, our related pages, forms, dashboards, submission tools, event tools, email notifications, and other services we provide.

By using the site, creating an account, submitting content, submitting an event, purchasing a paid event package, buying or requesting an advertising placement, uploading campaign assets, or otherwise interacting with JerseyTalks, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Certain features, including event drafts, event dashboards, advertising order dashboards, transaction history, event submission tools, and business advertising checkout, require an account or Google sign-in.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that occurs through your account. You agree to provide accurate account information and to promptly update it when needed.

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate account access if we believe an account is being misused, used to submit fraudulent or harmful material, used to evade moderation, or used in a way that violates these Terms.

You may submit tips, posts, images, videos, event information, organizer information, business information, campaign assets, captions, collaboration tags, links, descriptions, pricing details, and other materials. You are solely responsible for anything you submit.

By submitting material, you represent that you own it or have all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and releases to submit it and to grant Jersey Talks LLC the rights described in these Terms.

You may not submit material that is false, misleading, defamatory, infringing, unlawful, threatening, harassing, exploitative, obscene, invasive of privacy, or otherwise harmful.

When you submit text, images, video, event details, logos, links, or other content, you grant Jersey Talks LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to host, store, reproduce, edit, adapt, publish, display, distribute, promote, and otherwise use that content in connection with JerseyTalks and its related digital, social, promotional, editorial, and advertising channels.

This license allows us to format submissions for web pages, social media posts, newsletters, video, search, thumbnails, previews, captions, emails, and promotional materials. We are not required to use, publish, maintain, or remove any submitted material except as required by law.

You understand that no payment, royalty, or other compensation is owed for our use of submitted material unless we have a separate written agreement with you.

Event submissions are subject to review. Submitting an event does not guarantee approval, publication, placement, category assignment, timing, continued availability, or promotion.

We may approve, reject, request changes, edit, reclassify, unpublish, expire, cancel, or remove events at our discretion. We may also correct formatting, spelling, location details, images, categories, summaries, or other details for clarity, safety, site quality, or editorial consistency.

You are responsible for making sure event information is accurate, including date, time, location, pricing, age restrictions, ticket links, cancellation details, accessibility details, and organizer contact information.

If an event changes, sells out, is canceled, becomes unsafe, or is otherwise no longer accurate, you are responsible for updating it or notifying us promptly.

JerseyTalks may offer paid event packages, boosted event listings, featured event placements, homepage rotation, social or editorial consideration, and other promotional options. Paid options improve eligibility or visibility as described at purchase time but do not guarantee traffic, clicks, sales, attendance, publication, approval, exact placement, continuous placement, or a specific business result.

Standard boosts and Featured boosts run only after applicable payment or waiver is confirmed, after the event is published, and only during the active boost window. Boosts may end early if the event ends, is unpublished, rejected, canceled, refunded, removed, or otherwise becomes ineligible.

Featured boosts may be eligible for additional editorial or social consideration, including possible inclusion in JerseyTalks "Things to Do This Weekend" posts. Eligibility does not guarantee selection, publication, timing, format, prominence, or inclusion in any particular post.

Homepage and featured placements may rotate with other eligible events. Placement may vary by category, location, time, availability, editorial judgment, technical conditions, and other factors.

JerseyTalks may offer publishing-only business advertising placements, including Instagram Stories, Instagram feed posts, carousels, Reels, TikTok posts, bundles, monthly visibility packages, website placements, and related promotional services.

Unless separately agreed in writing, business advertising placements are distribution and publishing services only. JerseyTalks does not create your ad creative, photo, video, graphic, flyer, claim, offer, caption, or campaign message. You are responsible for supplying finished assets and copy.

You represent that your business owns or has all rights, permissions, licenses, releases, approvals, and clearances needed for the submitted campaign assets, business handles, collaboration tags, logos, music, people, products, claims, offers, and links.

All advertising orders and assets are subject to review. JerseyTalks may approve, reject, request replacement assets, edit formatting, lightly format captions, decline collaboration tags, change timing, cancel, refund, remove, or refuse an advertising placement at our discretion, including for brand fit, audience relevance, quality, rights, policy, safety, legal, technical, inventory, or scheduling reasons.

Preferred publish dates and windows are requests only. Advertising placement timing, platform availability, social account availability, link stickers, tags, collaboration features, grid placement, Reels placement, and TikTok publication may depend on platform rules, account permissions, technical availability, inventory, review status, and operational scheduling.

Advertising purchases do not guarantee views, impressions, clicks, engagement, sales, followers, attendance, leads, conversions, business outcomes, continued platform availability, or a specific placement beyond the service accepted and scheduled by JerseyTalks.

Paid event packages, advertising placements, and other paid services are charged through our payment processor. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize applicable charges.

Checkout may show and transmit product details for the selected package or placement, including package name, placement type, business or event name, buyer email, amount, order identifiers, product description, receipt details, and invoice metadata needed to process the transaction and maintain payment records.

Unless otherwise stated at purchase, payments are for review, processing, and/or promotional eligibility and do not guarantee publication or results. Refund eligibility may depend on payment status, event status, whether services have begun, and our internal review.

For advertising placements, services may be considered started once JerseyTalks reviews assets, reserves inventory, schedules a placement, creates a social draft, or otherwise begins fulfillment. Refunds may be denied after review, scheduling, publication, or delivery has begun, except where required by law or approved by JerseyTalks.

We may issue refunds, partial refunds, waivers, or credits at our discretion or where required by law. If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute, we may suspend related event boosts, advertising placements, event publication, or account access while the dispute is pending.

By creating an account, submitting an event, sending an advertising inquiry, or creating an advertising order, you agree that we may send transactional and service-related emails, including submission confirmations, review updates, replacement-asset requests, change requests, rejection reasons, approval notices, scheduling notices, publication notices, payment requests, receipts, refund updates, and account-related messages.

You are responsible for maintaining a valid email address. We are not responsible for missed messages caused by invalid email addresses, spam filters, email provider issues, or incorrect account information.

JerseyTalks retains editorial control over what appears on the site and related channels. Paid event placement, advertising placement, sponsored opportunities, or promotional eligibility do not require JerseyTalks to publish favorable coverage, avoid criticism, remove lawful editorial content, or cover any topic in a particular way.

We may label, organize, rank, summarize, or present content in ways we believe are useful to readers and consistent with our editorial and product goals.

The JerseyTalks name, logo, design, layout, code, graphics, page structure, original articles, original videos, and other site materials are owned by or licensed to Jersey Talks LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, republish, sell, modify, or exploit JerseyTalks materials without permission, except where permitted by law or by features we provide for sharing.

You may not use JerseyTalks to violate laws, infringe rights, submit false or misleading information, impersonate others, interfere with site operation, upload malware, scrape at abusive rates, bypass security controls, manipulate rankings, spam submissions, or misuse account or payment systems.

We may investigate suspected misuse and may remove content, block access, suspend accounts, cancel event listings, or take other action we consider appropriate.

The site may link to third-party websites, ticketing platforms, social networks, payment processors, maps, videos, embedded media, and other services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, pricing, fees, security, or practices.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies from those third parties.

JerseyTalks is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, current, complete, or free from inaccuracies.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jersey Talks LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, partners, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost goodwill, event attendance, ticket sales, advertising performance, campaign results, platform reach, or business outcomes arising from your use of the service.

We may update the site, features, pricing, packages, moderation practices, promotional options, and these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.

Your continued use of JerseyTalks after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
