Diagnosed in 2018 with terminal brain and spinal cancer and given just five months to live, DJ has defied every odd. He’s undergone over 13 surgeries and continues to fight with unwavering strength and heart.
Standing tall in Bergen County, DJ was proudly sworn in as an honorary police officer — adding this Police Department to the 1,300+ agencies across the nation that have honored his courageous journey.
