Following a viral video that appeared to show roach-like insects inside Dallas BBQ in Secaucus, the restaurant has provided Jersey Talks with an update following a health inspection. The Secaucus Health Department inspected the restaurant on September 3 and gave the establishment a “SATISFACTORY” rating, according to the official inspection report provided to Jersey Talks.

Following a viral video that appeared to show roach-like insects inside Dallas BBQ in Secaucus, the restaurant has provided Jersey Talks with an update following a health inspection.

The Secaucus Health Department inspected the restaurant on September 3 and gave the establishment a “SATISFACTORY” rating, according to the official inspection report provided to Jersey Talks.

Dallas BBQ also told Jersey Talks that the inspector observed “zero live pest activity.” The company said it immediately brought in professional pest control, completed a deep clean, addressed potential entry points and scheduled ongoing treatments following the incident.

Dallas BBQ also pointed to ongoing construction at the building and parking garage next door and said additional preventive measures have been put in place.

“We completely understand the concern around the video and are not trying to minimize what was captured,” Martha Garza, Head of Marketing & Brand for Dallas BBQ, told Jersey Talks.

The restaurant said it takes the incident seriously and will continue taking steps to address the situation.
