Bachata Royalty Takes Over Newark as Romeo Santos and Prince Royce Shut Down Prudential Center

NEWARK, NJ — Bachata took over the Prudential Center last night. Full house. No empty seats. The crowd was loud from the jump.

Romeo Santos and Prince Royce opened together with a track off Better Late Than Never, setting the tone early. This wasn’t a normal concert.

They ran it back-and-forth all night. Romeo hits a classic, Royce answers right back. No breaks. No drop in energy. Just hit after hit.

The entire arena was singing every word.

Then came the moment that changed everything.

Romeo pauses and tells Royce he wants to perform a song he wrote with “El Príncipe de la Bachata.” Royce laughs and says he’s the Prince of Bachata.

Seconds later, the real one walks out.
