
π¨ Bergen County Man Arrested After Child Abuse Investigation Triggered By Report From School Staff
Authorities say Ahmed Rady, a 36-year-old Belleville man, has been arrested after an investigation into alleged abuse involving a juvenile in North Arlington.
The case began on March 12, when child protection officials were alerted, reportedly after concerns were raised by school staff.
An investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutorβs Office Special Victims Unit and North Arlington Police determined the alleged incidents occurred in North Arlington.
Prosecutors say Ahmed A. Rady is now facing:

Endangering the welfare of a child (2nd degree)

Two counts of aggravated criminal sexual contact (3rd degree)
He was arrested in Belleville, taken to the Bergen County Jail, appeared in court, and was later released pending further proceedings.
