Carlstadt Man Charged In Fatal Dui Crash In Passaic

Johnny Aguilar, a 32-year-old from Carlstadt, has been charged with second-degree Death by Auto following a fatal crash on September 20 in Passaic, where he struck 59-year-old motorcyclist Carlos Oscario-Rodriguez. Authorities revealed Aguilar's blood alcohol level was over the legal limit at the time of the accident. Oscario-Rodriguez later died at Saint Mary's Hospital.

Aguilar is currently in custody, awaiting his initial court appearance. If convicted, he faces 5 to 10 years in prison. All charges are accusations, and Aguilar is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
