A family business in Perth Amboy was left with shattered windows and heavy damage after a daytime robbery that played out fast and violently.
Surveillance footage shows multiple suspects smashing through the front of SD Jewelry with sledgehammers before rushing inside and tearing through display cases.
Inside, the mother and daughter owners tried to fight them off as the suspects grabbed large amounts of jewelry.
Video from across the street shows the suspects running out with garbage bags filled with items before jumping into a waiting BMW on Madison Avenue.
Bystanders tried to step in but the car sped off.
Police chased the vehicle out of town but no arrests have been made.
Officials say multiple suspects were involved, no weapons were shown, and no injuries were reported.
