Police say three women smashed a drive-thru window, grabbed food and drinks, and tried to assault employees during an early morning disturbance in Mercer County.
According to authorities, officers were called to the Wendy’s on Olden Avenue in Ewing around 2:57 a.m. Saturday after reports of disorderly customers causing damage.
Investigators say the women allegedly broke the drive-thru window, reached inside, grabbed drinks and other items, and threw them at employees. Video circulating on social media appears to show the chaos unfolding, with workers throwing items back — including what looked like ice — as the situation escalated.
Police identified the suspects as:
• Saniyah Brittingham, 18, of Trenton
• Leah Williford-Stevens, 19, of Trenton
• Honesty Harrison, 23, of Trenton
Brittingham and Williford-Stevens were each charged with burglary, criminal mischief, and unlawful possession of a weapon. Harrison was charged with burglary and criminal mischief.
Authorities say the women also attempted to assault employees during the incident.
As of Friday afternoon, all three had not yet been taken into custody. The investigation remains ongoing.
The charges are accusations. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
