ENGLEWOOD, NJ β€” Three Bergen County men are facing charges after a late-morning shooting near a residential complex left one man injured.

Authorities say it happened around 11 a.m. on April 1 near the Park View Housing Apartments. Officers arrived to find a 33-year-old man shot. He was rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Investigators say 19-year-old Joshua Khan of Englewood fired multiple shots, hitting the victim twice before running.

Two others, 24-year-old Jalen Everett of Lodi and 20-year-old Louis Placide of Cresskill, were caught nearby while trying to leave the area.

Police recovered a handgun, ammo, marijuana, and drug-related items during the arrests. A second firearm tied to the shooting was later found.

Khan was tracked down the next day in Elmwood Park with help from the Bergen County SWAT team.

Charges:

β€’ Everett: drug-related offenses

All three are now in Bergen County Jail awaiting court.
