Dina Manzo Daughter Calls Out Bethenny Frankel for Promoting Dupe Shoes Instead of Her Brand
What happened
Alexia Iannou, the daughter of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Dina Manzo, went public Friday calling out Bethenny Frankel for wearing her gifted shoes — and then sending fans to buy a different pair instead.
"Bethenny Frankel is a weirdo," Iannou, 29, said in an Instagram Reel posted after Frankel shared a viral video showing off her outfit at the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Social Club appearance.
Iannou said she had sent Frankel a pair of shoes from her brand, Nou, nearly a year ago. Frankel wore the black mule shoes to the event — but when fans asked where to get them, Frankel linked to a different pair of heels from Black Suede Studio on her Instagram Story, priced at $345, using an affiliate link.
"She didn't tag us after wearing the shoes multiple times online — which, okay, that happens," Iannou said. "But then, today she posted a video that's going viral and instead of linking them, she linked a dupe and with an affiliate link. I guess she's got to get that bag in some sort of way."
"So, she got the shoes for free from a woman-founded brand — mine — and then she made money sending her followers somewhere else," Iannou added.
Her mother, Dina Manzo, backed her up with a pointed message to Frankel on her own Instagram Story. "WOW BETHENNY WOW!!" she wrote. "So odd of you to post a dupe of your GIFTED shopnou shoes instead of giving a young woman entrepreneur the credit."
Frankel later gave Nou its credit in a separate Instagram post Friday, sharing a full "OOTD" breakdown that mentioned the brand. She also added a caption that some fans read as a dig at Iannou: "Apparently I can't get content out fast enough these days…"
Iannou said the outpouring of support online inspired her next move. She announced she would launch the black satin mules Frankel wore as a limited-time pre-order, currently listed at $375.
