Driver Rescued After Serious Route 46 Crash in Teterboro
What happened
A driver had to be rescued from a heavily damaged vehicle following a crash on Route 46 in Teterboro Sunday evening.
According to the Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department, crews were called around 6 p.m. for a crash involving a person trapped inside a vehicle. Firefighters from Hasbrouck Heights and Little Ferry worked to free the patient before turning them over to EMS.
South Hackensack firefighters also responded to assist, while Wood-Ridge provided coverage at the Hasbrouck Heights firehouse.
Photos from the scene show extensive damage to the vehicle and debris scattered across the roadway.
The fire department did not provide an update on the patient’s condition or say what caused the crash.
