BAYONNESTRONG™ Turkey Drive for Single Families and Homebound Residents

My name is Michelle M. Scalone, and I am the founder of BAYONNESTRONG™, a grassroots community brand, and Tethered Oasis, LLC.
I've spent most of my life working hard, raising my children, and doing it largely on my own. I know what it feels like to live and work in a city and never quite feel like you belong to it — to be part of a community in name only, never having the chance to show up the way you wanted to. Life didn't allow it.
But that changes now.
Who This Is For
This Thanksgiving, we're showing up for two groups of people who deserve to feel seen and celebrated.
Single-parent families — the moms and dads doing it all alone, stretching every dollar, and still showing up for their kids every single day. The holidays shouldn't be another source of stress. They should be a moment of relief.
Homebound residents — neighbors who can't get out the way they once did. The elderly, the ill, the isolated. People who may spend Thanksgiving completely alone — not by choice, but by circumstance. Their hearts are gold, and they deserve a warm meal and the reminder that someone in this community is thinking of them.
Why I'm Doing This
I'm not a millionaire. I don't have a big organization behind me. What I have is a deep belief that Bayonne is full of good people who would show up for each other if someone just made it easy to do so. I just never had the time to be that person.
