HAMILTON TOWNSHIP (Mercer County) — A violent early morning crash turned deadly Sunday, leaving one person dead and another seriously injured in Mercer County.
The collision happened just after 4 a.m. on Sunday March 12 at the intersection of Route 130 and Spirit of 76 Boulevard.
When emergency crews arrived, they found a mangled vehicle with two people trapped inside.
Authorities say the passenger was unconscious and unresponsive, requiring CPR at the scene. Despite lifesaving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead.
The driver was extricated from the wreckage and rushed to a nearby hospital. Their condition has not yet been released.
