
π¨ Gun Pulled During Hoboken Apartment Dispute Ends In 3 Arrests
A late-night fight in Hoboken escalated fast β and ended with a gun and drugs seized.
Police say around 11:30 p.m. on March 24, officers responded to the 200 block of Harrison Street after reports of a dispute inside an apartment. One person was reportedly seen with a handgun.
Officers detained 21-year-old Tahjmir Mitchell, who was allegedly carrying 24 bags of crack cocaine, 6 folds of heroin, and drug paraphernalia.
The investigation led to two more arrests:
β’ Justin Villafane, 21 (Hoboken) β allegedly had 20 folds of heroin
β’ Thomas Bates, 38 (Hoboken) β allegedly had a loaded Ruger handgun
Police say the weapon was secured at the scene.
Mitchell and Villafane face multiple drug charges, including intent to distribute. Mitchell also faces weapons charges.
Bates is charged with multiple weapons offenses, along with resisting arrest and obstruction.
All three were taken to the Hudson County Correctional Facility.
