The Haledon Police Department recently dismantled an ecstasy production facility following a tip-off from a concerned citizen.
During the operation, they arrested 23 year old, Santiago Zapata-Palomeque and confiscated a substantial amount of MDMA and cocaine, along with manufacturing equipment and fraudulent government IDs.
The Passaic County Hazmat Team and other agencies were involved to ensure safety. Zapata-Palomeque faces serious charges, and Detective Jeffrey Welsh is leading the investigation.
Mayor Michael Johnson praised the police department's efforts, highlighting the community's support and resources in maintaining public safety. This successful operation emphasizes Haledon's stance against criminal activities.
