JACKSON TOWNSHIP MAN CHARGED WITH DRUGS, WEAPONS OFFENSES

Authorities in Ocean County, New Jersey, announced the culmination of a two-month-long investigation into the distribution of illegal narcotics.

Collaborating agencies, including the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force and the Lakewood Township Police Department, identified Justin Love, 25, of Jackson Township, as a key figure in the distribution of crack cocaine in the area. Love was found to be utilizing a residence in Lakewood for storing and distributing drugs.

On February 14, a search warrant was executed, resulting in the seizure of crack cocaine, a handgun, drug paraphernalia, and cash from Love's residence and vehicle. Love was arrested without incident and faces multiple charges, including possession and distribution of crack cocaine, possession of a firearm, and possession of oxycodone without a prescription.

He is currently held in Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
