LAW ENFORCEMENT TO INTENSIFY CRACKDOWN ON ILLEGAL VEHICLE ACTIVITY IN HUDSON COUNTY PARKS

Hudson County Executive Craig Guy has announced a crackdown on illegal vehicle activity in county parks, focusing on motorized scooters, dirt bikes, and all-terrain vehicles.

With increased park use during the summer, the initiative aims to protect visitors, especially children. Enforcement will involve the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office, new signage in parks, and a social media campaign to inform the public about regulations.

“I will work with the Board of County Commissioners to ensure those illegally operating motorized scooters, dirt bikes, and all-terrain vehicles in our parks will be held accountable. Our parks must remain a safe space for pedestrians and responsible bikers.” Said County Executive Guy.
