LINDEN MAN ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH STABBING INCIDENT

A 22-year-old man from Linden, Kyeshon Downer, was arrested following a stabbing incident early today. Officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance on Grant Street around 12:30 a.m. and found a 20-year-old woman with stab wounds. She received on-site treatment and was later transported to Newark University Hospital, where she is in stable condition. Downer faces multiple charges, including second-degree aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.
