π¨ A New Jersey Lyft driver is facing charges after allegedly targeting two Princeton University students on back-to-back days, prosecutors said.
Authorities say 28-year-old Dimario Wynter of Spotswood approached the students while driving near campus, pretending to ask for directions before allegedly offering them cash and attempting to lure them into his vehicle.
In one incident, investigators say Wynter handed a student $100, got out of his car, and allegedly demanded a sexual act before the student dropped the money and ran away.
A second student reported a similar encounter the following morning, according to officials.
After an investigation, Princeton University police allegedly identified Wynter as the suspect and confirmed he was driving for Lyft at the time.
Wynter has been charged with multiple counts of harassment and luring.
The investigation remains active. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Mercer County Prosecutorβs Office.
