A 23-year-old man has been charged after police say he exposed himself to and harassed several girls and women inside Bridgewater Commons.
Bridgewater police said officers were called to the mall at about 7:03 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports of a man harassing female patrons and exposing himself.
Officers and mall security located the man and identified him as Josue Orellana of Bound Brook, according to police.
Investigators allege that Orellana targeted multiple people ranging in age from 14 to 25.
Police charged him with three counts of harassment, described by authorities as fourth-degree offenses, and one count of lewdness, a disorderly persons offense.
Orellana was taken into custody without incident and lodged in the Morris County Jail pending an initial court appearance, police said.
The Bridgewater Township Police Department credited mall security for helping officers quickly locate the suspect.
The charges are accusations. Orellana is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
