MAN INDICTED FOR MURDER OF BAYONNE MISSING WOMAN

Gregory Mallard, 35, from Jersey City, has been indicted by a Hudson County Grand Jury in connection with the death of Norelis Mendoza, 32, who was found deceased in Bayonne on May 17, 2023.

The indictment includes charges of Murder, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (vehicle), Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose (vehicle), Failing to Dispose of Human Remains Properly, Desecration of Human Remains, Hindering, and Tampering with Physical Evidence. Mallard's Post Indictment Arraignment is tentatively scheduled for February 12, 2024. 

Mendoza was reported missing on May 14, 2023, and her body was found near Route 440 on May 17, 2023.
