🚨 Mass Shooting Under Investigation in Paterson

Authorities in Paterson are investigating a mass shooting that left multiple people wounded Sunday night.

Around 8:20 p.m., police responded after a ShotSpotter alert detected gunfire near the 230 block of Rosa Parks Boulevard.

When officers arrived, they found as many as seven victims suffering from gunshot wounds. All victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment. At least one person reportedly suffered life-threatening injuries and is not expected to survive.

The scene quickly became chaotic as a large crowd gathered, prompting additional law enforcement agencies to respond for crowd control and security.
