TRENTON, NJ — What started as a missing persons case has now turned into a homicide.
Authorities say 35-year-old Anthony White, a Trenton resident, was reported missing by his family on March 19. Nearly two weeks later, on April 1, police were called to a home on Walnut Avenue — where they made a grim discovery.
White was found dead inside the residence. An autopsy later confirmed the worst — his death has officially been ruled a homicide.
Now, the Mercer County Homicide Task Force and Trenton Police are working to piece together what happened.
So far, officials have not released details on how he was killed or if any suspects have been identified.
The case remains under active investigation.
