Netflix is raising prices again in the U.S.
The ad-supported plan is going up to $8.99 a month.
Its Standard and Premium plans are also getting hit with another $2 increase.
What’s happening:
Netflix is increasing prices across all three of its U.S. plans for the second time in a little over a year.
Under the new pricing:
Standard with Ads: $8.99/month, up from $7.99
Standard: $19.99/month, up from $17.99
Premium: $26.99/month, up from $24.99
The updated prices were posted on Netflix’s website Thursday.
Why it matters:
For subscribers already frustrated by crackdowns on password sharing and constant streaming price hikes, this is another bump that makes keeping multiple subscriptions even harder to justify.
