NEW BRUNSWICK PASTOR CHARGED WITH EXPLICIT CONTACT INVOLVING JUVENILE

Authorities in Middlesex County have charged Roby D. Cruz-Hernandez, a 61-year-old pastor from Somerset, with explicit contact and endangering the welfare of a child. The charges follow an investigation by the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office and the New Brunswick Police Department into allegations involving a juvenile victim. Cruz-Hernandez, a pastor at Iglesia Pentecostal El Mesias, was arrested at his home without incident. He faces second-degree and third-degree charges. Officials are seeking additional information from the public.
