NJ PASTOR ACCUSED OF DRUGGING, ASSAULTING TEEN ARRESTED
A trusted leader in the community now faces serious allegations after authorities arrested Charles B. Brinson, 64, a Trenton pastor, on charges of assaulting a 16-year-old victim.
The Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and Trenton Police Department took Brinson into custody at his home on Wednesday, February 19, following an investigation into disturbing claims made earlier this month.
Shocking Allegations
According to prosecutors, the victim reported to Trenton police that Brinson had explicit contact with them on two separate occasions in January and February. Investigators say Brinson allegedly drugged the victim, causing them to lose consciousness before the assaults took place in his home.
Brinson, who serves as the Bishop of Brinson Memorial Church, Inc., is now facing:
✅ Two counts of first-degree aggravated explicit contact of an incapacitated victim
✅ Two counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a child
Legal Battle Ahead
Prosecutors have already filed a motion to detain Brinson as the legal process unfolds. Meanwhile, law enforcement officials are urging anyone with additional information to come forward.
