Paterson resident Anmar Oudah, 35, was arrested for a stabbing incident on March 3 in Paterson's East Railway Avenue area.

He faces charges including first-degree attempted murder, second-degree unlawful possession of a weapon, and second-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.

The victim, a 30-year-old male Paterson resident, survived the non-fatal stab wound and was promptly hospitalized. The Paterson Police Department swiftly arrested Oudah following an investigation.

The State intends to seek pretrial detention, and it's important to remember that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
