PHILLY LEGENDS RETURN: BOYZ II MEN TO SING ANTHEM AT EAGLES SEASON OPENER 🎶🦅

The 2025 NFL season officially kicks off Thursday night at Lincoln Financial Field as the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys. And before the first snap, the Birds are calling on a hometown legend: Boyz II Men will sing the National Anthem.

What we know:

• The performance will take place at Lincoln Financial Field.

• “There’s like an unspoken word that, when it comes to the Eagles, the answer is ‘Yes,’” said the group’s manager, Joe Mulvihill.

• All three members of Boyz II Men are Philly natives and graduates of the Philadelphia High School for Creative and Performing Arts.

Timeline:
Boyz II Men have graced the Linc before. Their last big performance came in 2018, when the Eagles raised their Super Bowl LII championship banner. This Thursday, history repeats itself, as the group helps set the stage for another season with a banner-raising ceremony.

“I take the approach of Jalen Hurts,” said Nathan Morris. “It’s good, it’s beautiful, and I’m happy—very happy—to be sharing the raising of the banner, sitting there watching it. But it’s a new season, man, and we’re on to the next. Let’s get it going.”
