Police say a Sayreville father became enraged Tuesday morning after his child was denied entry onto a school bus because it was not their designated bus stop.
According to authorities, the incident unfolded around 8:41 a.m. near Lakeview and Solook drives, where officers found 31-year-old Roshan Howington allegedly standing in front of a yellow school bus, blocking it from moving while several children were still onboard.
Investigators say Howington became upset after the bus driver refused to let his child board at the unauthorized stop. Police allege he began yelling at the driver, obstructing the bus, and even attempted to assault the driver through an open window.
Howington, a Sayreville resident, was arrested and charged with interference with transportation, obstruction of the administration of law, and assault.
