Suspicious Tesla At American Dream Mall Leads To Evacuation

A suspicious Tesla found at the American Dream mall led to an evacuation Tuesday evening, according to New Jersey State Police. Around 5:30 p.m., mall security spotted the car on the C parking deck with its driver's door open and unattended. Initial sweeps by American Dream K-9 units returned a positive alert, prompting the mall's evacuation. Bergen County and NJ State Police K-9 units later confirmed the alert. The bomb squads were called to the scene, but after a thorough investigation, no threats were found. The mall was reopened once the area was deemed safe.
