TEEN, 16, SHOT AND KILLED IN JERSEY CITY AS POLICE LAUNCH INVESTIGATION

16-year-old boy was fatally shot Friday evening in Jersey City, according to authorities.

Prosecutors say officers found the teen with a gunshot wound on Rose Avenue. He died shortly after their arrival.

The events leading to the shooting were not immediately clear.
