TEEN BOY KILLED IN IRVINGTON SHOOTING

Essex County authorities are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Wednesday morning in Irvington, New Jersey. Around 1:26 am on July 3, 2024, police responded to reports of a shooting on Grove Street and found a young male with gunshot wounds. The victim, a seventeen-year-old from Irvington, was taken to University Hospital in Newark, where he was pronounced dead at 2:17 am. His identity is withheld due to his age.
