An early morning crash is under investigation after a truck slammed into a building, leaving two people injured and the driver pinned inside the wreckage.
The incident happened around 2:20 a.m. near Ward Avenue and Kensington in Clifton, where emergency crews responded to reports of a serious collision.
When first responders arrived, they found a truck embedded into a structure with heavy damage. Firefighters worked to free the driver, who was trapped inside the vehicle.
At the same time, crews assisted a second victim on the second floor of a nearby home. That individual suffered injuries and was removed for medical treatment.
The impact shook nearby residents awake, with some fearing the truck could catch fire or explode due to the severity of the crash.
Both victims were transported to the hospital. Their conditions have not been released.
Authorities have not yet determined what led up to the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
