Two Killed In Crash On I-80 In Hackensack
A tragic accident involving vehicles took place late on Tuesday night on the side of I 80 at milepost 66.6, in Hackensack. The collision involved four vehicles. Led to two fatalities well as several injuries.
As per the New Jersey State Police, a Toyota SUV traveling in the lanes hit the median and crossed into the express lanes, where it collided with a Volvo tractor trailer.
This impact caused the Volvo to strike the median and veer into the lanes, where it crashed into an Isuzu box truck causing it to catch fire and move into the westbound local lanes, where it was subsequently hit by a GMC SUV.
The driver and passenger of the Isuzu box truck lost their lives in this event while those, in the vehicles suffered various injuries. Authorities are currently investigating this incident.
