Authorities are investigating a fatal fire that broke out early Friday morning at a Paterson residence, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes.
Around 2:32 a.m., the Paterson Fire Department responded to a call at 71 North 7th Street, where they encountered a home engulfed in flames. Two residents, a 69-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, escaped unharmed. After firefighters extinguished the fire, the bodies of two other individuals were found inside. Their identities are pending confirmation by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
