Authorities in Pennsylvania are searching for a 25-year-old woman accused of driving the wrong way while intoxicated on Interstate 476, triggering a violent crash that left one motorcyclist dead and another injured.

According to the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office, Onanyeli Rosario-Mesa, last known to be living in Allentown, is currently on the run. A warrant for her arrest was issued on April 10.

Prosecutors say she is facing multiple serious charges, including vehicular homicide while driving under the influence, involuntary manslaughter, reckless endangerment, and several DUI-related offenses.

The crash happened around 9 a.m. on March 30, 2025, in Washington Township. Investigators say Rosario-Mesa was allegedly driving southbound in the northbound lanes of I-476 at high speeds, forcing drivers to swerve out of the way to avoid impact.

Authorities say her vehicle eventually slammed into multiple motorcycles, causing a three-vehicle crash.

One of the victims, 50-year-old John Sweeney Jr., was pronounced dead at the scene. Another rider was rushed to the hospital and survived with injuries.

Officials say both witness accounts and surveillance footage show the vehicle traveling against traffic before the crash.

Rosario-Mesa remains at large. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is urged to call 911 immediately.
