
15-YEAR-OLD, SERENITY LAW, FATALLY STRUCK BY VEHICLE IN RIDGEFIELD
A 15-year-old girl named Serenity Law from Ridgefield tragically died after being struck while riding a scooter near her home. The incident occurred at the intersection of Shaler Boulevard and Edgewater Avenue on the evening of April 14. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead shortly after at the hospital.
Though initially referred to as a "pedestrian death," it was confirmed that Serenity was riding a scooter that collided with a vehicle driven by a 61-year-old from Hasbrouck Heights. The driver notified the police, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing. Serenity's passing deeply saddened those who knew her, with tributes highlighting her humor, beauty, and love for her family, especially her little brother.

The incident is being investigated by the prosecutor’s Fatal Accident Investigation Task Force and the Ridgefield Police Department. At the time of this writing no arrest has been made.
