Federal authorities are now offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Luis Marin, also known as “Luisito,” a North Bergen man wanted in connection with a deadly Union City shooting.
The U.S. Marshals Service says Marin is wanted by the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office on first-degree murder and weapons charges and should be considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators say Marin allegedly gunned down 42-year-old David Pulgarin near Bergenline Avenue and 44th Street in Union City on March 23 before disappearing.
Now, weeks later, the manhunt is intensifying.
Marin, 57, is also known by several aliases, including Luis Alberto, Luis Hernandez, and Luis Rodriguez. Authorities describe him as approximately 5-foot-4, 160 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes.
