ATLANTIC CITY MAN ADMITS TO DEADLY HOTEL STABBING OF NEW YORK RESIDENT; FACES DECADES BEHIND BARS 😳

Julio Vazquez-Dones, 38, of Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to first-degree Aggravated Manslaughter and faces a 25-year prison sentence under the No Early Release Act, requiring him to serve 85% of his term before parole eligibility. The charge stems from a July 8, 2023, incident at the Red Carpet Inn, where Atlantic City Police found Jewel Lonon, 31, of Rosedale, NY, fatally stabbed.

Surveillance footage revealed Vazquez-Dones chasing and attacking Lonon after a dispute. He later admitted to the stabbing and discarding his clothes and weapon. Sentencing is set for March 12, 2025, before Judge Pamela D’Arcy.
