ATLANTIC CITY MAN PLEADS GUILTY TO FELONY MURDER FOR VIOLENT VENTNOR SHOOTING IN 2018

Angelo Delgado, a 22-year-old from Atlantic City, pleaded guilty to first-degree Felony Murder in connection with the 2018 death of 61-year-old Sunil Edla of Ventnor. Delgado, who was 16 at the time of the crime, admitted to shooting Edla while attempting to steal his car. The recommended sentence is 30 years in New Jersey State Prison, with no possibility of parole. The crime occurred on November 15, 2018, and after an investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies, Delgado was arrested the next day. Sentencing is scheduled for September.
