ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — One person is dead after a late-night shooting in Atlantic City, authorities said.
What we know:
• Police responded to a shooting around 9:30 p.m. on April 22 at an apartment on the 2200 block of Hamilton Avenue
• When officers arrived, they found one victim suffering from a gunshot wound
• The victim was pronounced dead at the scene
The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit and Atlantic City police are jointly investigating the incident.
Authorities have not released the victim’s identity as they work to notify next of kin.
