🚨 The U.S. Department of Justice is suing New Jersey over new ICE restrictions signed earlier this month.
At the center of it: Executive Order No. 12, which limits where and how federal immigration agents can operate on state property.
The DOJ says the order interferes with federal authority and violates the Constitution.
New Jersey officials say the state has the right to control its property and protect community trust.
This isn’t just politics. This could redefine how immigration enforcement works inside NJ prisons, courthouses, and public facilities.
And depending on how the court rules, it could have national implications.
