The Philadelphia Eagles are overhauling their offensive coaching staff, naming Sean Mannion as the team’s new offensive coordinator and adding Josh Grizzard as passing game coordinator.
What to know
- Mannion replaces Kevin Patullo, who the team parted ways with earlier this month.
- According to Adam Schefter, Grizzard will join Mannion’s staff to help re-energize the Eagles’ passing attack.
- Grizzard, 35, most recently served as offensive coordinator for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has also coached with the Miami Dolphins. He was let go following Tampa Bay’s 8–9 season.
Why it matters
Mannion comes from Green Bay, where he was promoted to quarterbacks coach last season after serving as an offensive assistant. He played a role in the development of Jordan Love and Malik Willis. Before coaching, Mannion spent nine seasons in the NFL as a quarterback with the Vikings, Rams, and Seahawks.
The Eagles struggled offensively last season, and this revamped staff signals a clear reset aimed at jump-starting the unit heading into the 2026 campaign.
