FLORIDA MAN PULLED A KNIFE AND PUNCHED A MANAGER AT THIS UPSCALE RESTAURANT IN RUMSON

A 75-year-old Florida man, David Gulley, was arrested for aggravated assault and other charges after an altercation at the Red Horse by David Burke restaurant in Rumson, New Jersey, on August 22. The incident began when Gulley argued with another diner over spilled wine and escalated when he pulled out a steak knife and lunged at the victim, injuring his finger. The restaurant's staff intervened, and the police were called. A video of the incident circulated on Reddit, inaccurately labeling it as "attempted murder." Gulley has since been released on a summons.
