At approximately 11:00 a.m. today, a commercial truck traveling west on Route 3 in Clifton crashed into a barrier, causing a fire and subsequent explosion.
The driver, a 55-year-old male from Linden, was found deceased after the fire was controlled. The cause of the crash is undetermined, and the investigation is ongoing.
