🚨 Bergen County Lawsuit Shakes Englewood Health
A nurse says she was punished for speaking up.
According to a lawsuit filed Sept. 12, Lexi Kuenzle, an Englewood Health nurse, claims she was suspended without pay after calling out surgeon Dr. Matthew Jung, who allegedly “cheered” the assassination of conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.
Kuenzle says she reported Jung’s remarks immediately and later posted about them on Instagram. The next day, she alleges, hospital management pulled her off duty and hinted her job could be at risk.
Englewood Health, however, insists both Kuenzle and the surgeon are suspended while an internal investigation plays out — and denies she’s been fired.
