Christopher Carvajal, a 30-year-old from North Bergen, has pleaded guilty in federal court to possessing explicit images of minors.

Carvajal's disturbing collection of over 900 videos and 400 images led to his indictment, with a prior conviction in the Superior Court of New Jersey for a similar offense. The sentencing is scheduled for May 24, 2024..

The plea was registered before U.S. District Judge Claire C. Cecchi in the Newark federal court following an indictment that charged Carvajal with one count of possession of explicit images of minors.
