Pleasantville Man Sentenced for Child Luring: 21-year-old Javier Erazo faces prison time and lifetime supervision after admitting to using social media to target a minor in Atlantic City. Here’s how the authorities uncovered his disturbing intentions:

On October 24, Javier Erazo, 21, from Pleasantville, was sentenced to four years in New Jersey State Prison following a guilty plea to luring a child. According to Atlantic County officials, the investigation began in June 2024 when Atlantic City Police were alerted that Erazo planned to meet a 13-year-old girl he’d contacted on Snapchat for explicit purposes. Police apprehended him at an Atlantic City park with the minor, and Erazo later admitted to explicit conversations with her on both Snapchat and Roblox. After serving his sentence, Erazo will be under Parole Supervision for Life and required to register as an offender under Megan’s Law.
