SOMERSET MAN CHARGED WITH POSSESSION OF EXPLICIT IMAGES OF MINORS
Albert J. Ketrow, 28, from Somerset, has been arrested by authorities in Somerset County as part of the New Jersey Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. The arrest follows tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding the possession of explicit images involving children. The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit initiated an investigation, uncovering that Ketrow had uploaded over a hundred videos and photos depicting explicit contact with or exploitation of children under 18.
On December 12, 2023, detectives located and arrested Ketrow in Manville. A search warrant was executed at his residence, resulting in the seizure of multiple electronic devices for further forensic examination. An initial examination of Ketrow's phone revealed evidence of the crimes. He was charged with 2nd-degree Endangering the Welfare of the Child and Possession of Explicit Material over 1000 items. Ketrow was lodged in the Somerset County Jail, subsequently released, and the investigation is ongoing.
